At UpKeep, I launched and led our DEI program in partnership with an external consultant—a part of our strategy involved celebrating important days/months chosen by the DEI Working Group.
Black History Month 2021
For Black History Month, UpKeep made a substantial donation to Black Girls Code and matched employee donations.
I created this Resource Guide for employees within Canva, wrote all copy, and curated the content.
International Women's Day 2021
International Women's Day takes place during Women's History Month.
In recognition of this observance, I created a Resource Guide and held a 'Women In Industry' panel for UpKeep employees featuring UpKeep's customers and a female industry advisor.
Pride Month 2021
Pride Month featured an in-depth Resource Guide in addition to a Fireside Chat with several employees and company leadership panelists discussing their experiences and insights.
The panel was attended by almost 75% of the company and was positively received overall!
